A parent’s perspective on supporting and advocating for her deafblind son

The Deafblind International Communication Network is delighted to announce the fifth event of their webinar series.

Lillias Liston has a son with deafblindness. She will share her perspective on the early experience of this. Topics include

• feelings after having a child with disability

• recognising her son’s ability to communicate

• helping him understand the world

• finding professionals with the right expertise and

• positive collaboration
