Deafblind technology project
The Deafblind Technology Project was part of the Deafblind Information Project activity from 2019 to 2025. Its purpose was to
- understand everyday technology usage amongst deafblind people in supported independent living
- explore processes to increase existing technology usage and independence in everyday living and recreational tasks
- explore processes for introducing new technologies
- build capacity of support staff in provision of active support involving technologies
